The Solid Aluminium Steering Rack Bushes are a direct replacement of the OEM rubber bushes. Steering racks on cars that are driven hard see high loads and the rubber bushes are just not up to the task. These aluminium bushes leave no margin for play and are CNC machined from billet aluminium. Besides solid mounting the rack they do also move the steering rack forward a few mm.
